EARTH HOUR

Millions of Canadians will turn off their lights on Saturday March 28, 2009 from 8:30 till 9:30pm. Earth hour is the one hour when we turn off all our lights including electronic devices. This celebration started in Sydney, Australia but now it seems that its becoming world wide!

Last year I didn’t participate in earth hour because I thought it was a complete waste of time. But I was wrong, I learned that by turning off everything makes a BIG difference even thou it might not seem like it!

Here are some things you can do on earth hour; play board games, talk on the phone, spend some time with family or just read a book.

This year I will turn off all the lights, will you be willing to do this?
